BLACK HISTORY MONTH

In honor of Black History Month, the 5th graders are each researching the life of a prominent black American who has made a deep and lasting impact on the world. Some of the profiles include John Lewis, Michelle Obama, Malcolm X, and Sojourner Truth. The students will then design a mini-banner with facts about their subject's life and present it to the class.
