Students also dissected owl pellets this week in science class. Owl pellets are regurgitated parts of their meals that they can't digest. These pellets are from Barn Owls, which is a species found in PA. Owls eat small rodent or birds. The 5th graders took apart the pellets to find all of the bones and fur that wasn't digested. You can create a whole skeleton of the animal from the pellet to find out what the owl ate!

  • March is Women’s History Month when we will be celebrating Women in history.  If you or someone you know would be willing to share with a class, a division , or multiple groups to enhance our celebration in any way, please email jmyers@holychildacademy.com and we will make it as easy as possible.

  • March 17th will be a green and white Saint Patrick’s Day dress down day.

  • Spirit Week will kick off on March 19th and will continue into the next week.
