Fifth grade students had quite the week!  

Today in carline, they were greeted with Blaze dancing to music.  Then, students had a scavenger hunt in homeroom.  While they searched for Dragon eggs, they had a chance to give Blaze a squeeze!

Fifth grade students moved on to deliver a BEAUTIFUL prayer service.  The link to their closing song is here.  

As if this wasn't enough action for the day, fifth grade also planted for the organic garden in the science lab.  They worked with 7th grade to plant the vegetables and fruits that will grow inside until they are ready to be planted in our Organic Garden!

• Monday - Pajama Day!  Wear your PJs to school!

• Tuesday - Twin/Triplet day

• Wednesday - Sweats day - Come to school in your coziest sweats!

• Thursday - Throwback Thursday/Decade Day

• Conferences are also next Thursday afternoon and Friday morning (3/25 & 3/26).  Please note - middle school students are expected to attend all scheduled conferences.

• March is Women’s History Month when we will be celebrating Women in history.  If you or someone you know would be willing to share with a class, a division , or multiple groups to enhance our celebration in any way, please email jmyers@holychildacademy.com , and we will make it as easy as possible. 

• Looking forward, April is Arab American Heritage Month, and May is Asian and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month. If you have ideas or suggestions for our celebrations for those months, please email jmyers@holychildacademy.com.
