 October 2, 2020

Our fifth grade students have spent the last few weeks learning some of the fundamentals of geography in their social studies class, starting with the solar system. They engaged in some immersive learning by pretending to be a planet and had fun "rotating" and "revolving" around the sun. They are also learning about the Northern and Southern hemispheres, the equator, and how to identify coordinates on a map. Soon they will be expert map readers!
